The history of MEBO Games begins in 2010 as MESAboardgames near Lisbon. CITY OF SPIES: ESTORIL 1942 by founder Gil d’Orey and Antonio Sousa Lara, which is set not far from the company’s headquarters, attracted a lot of attention in 2015. Since 2018, the publisher has been operating under the name MEBO Games and remains true to its roots: games with a partly Portuguese flair, paired with accessible mechanisms.
