The King’s Dilemma™ is the interactive legacy story of the Kingdom of Ankist.
HOW TO PLAY THE KING’S DILEMMA?
The core of the game is an evolving stack of event cards. Each event occurs exactly once, so you must constantly face new challenges. Your choices determine which of the branching storylines you follow to one of the many possible endings. Each turn you draw a card from the dilemma pile and learn about the latest events in the land. Each event presents you with a choice that you must make together on behalf of the king.
You will discuss, negotiate and finally make a decision that will lead to new events and thus determine the continuation of history. But each of you will also represent the interests of your own house: a struggle for power that can lead the kingdom to wealth and prosperity, but also to wars, famine and rebellion. Each of your decisions has consequences, and what is good for the kingdom as a whole may be bad for your family. Are you acting for the greater good or just for your own good?
